Sashel Haygood serves as a paralegal intern at Jakle, Alexander, & Patton, where she supports attorneys in every aspect of estate planning and trust administration. She is gaining law-related experience to qualify for the paralegal designation. She combines strong legal research and drafting skills with a client-centered approach, ensuring families receive attentive guidance throughout the planning process.
Known for her precision and organizational ability, Sashel assists with preparing legal documents, managing case files, and facilitating clear communication between clients and attorneys. She is dedicated to building trust and helping clients feel supported as they navigate important life decisions.
Sashel holds a Master’s degree from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she sharpened her expertise in research, analysis, and writing; skills she applies daily in her legal work.
Beyond the firm, Sashel is passionate about community impact. She is one of the founders of Black America Project, a non-profit organization that helps young minorities access educational and vocational opportunities, reflecting her commitment to empowerment and mentorship.
