Lisa received her undergraduate degree in Linguistics and French from UCLA and earned her JD from USC. Lisa is a Certified Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law, certified by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. She is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.
Lisa is a contributing Author of “California Conservatorship Practice” (Continuing Education of the Bar [CEB]) Annual Updates and writes the monthly column “Planning Ahead” in the Santa Monica Star Newspaper, covering all manner of estate planning topics. She has been a presenter to the Trusts & Estates Section of the Santa Monica Bar Association on the subject of Advance Health Care Directives and has served as a faculty member for National Business Institute seminars on the subjects of Estate Planning and Administration and Ultimate Guide to Wills and Trusts.
Lisa is a member and past Co-Chair of Estate Counselors Forum of Los Angeles. She is a member of the Trusts & Estates Sections of the California State Bar, the Los Angeles County Bar, Beverly Hills Bar and Santa Monica Bar Associations.
Lisa is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Santa Monica and currently serves as Chair of the Board of Governors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa Monica. She previously served on the Boards of the Santa Monica Breakfast Club, Santa Monica Family YMCA and the Western Los Angeles County Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Lisa has served on the Gift Planning Committee for Loyola High School.
Lisa is the proud mother of an Eagle Scout. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and distance running.
