Michelle earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Pepperdine University School of Law in 2018. During her time at Pepperdine, Michelle served as the editor-in-chief of Volume XXXVII of the Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary. Michelle was also a judicial extern to the honorable Stephen V. Wilson at the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Capitalizing on her experience with and background in United States Federal Securities laws, Michelle also participated in Pepperdine's Investor Advocacy Clinic. There, she had the opportunity to provide pro bono assistance to low-income clients in arbitrating their Federal Securities claims before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Prior to law school, Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in finance, from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business in 2013. At the same time, Michelle also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California’s Leventhal School of Accounting in 2013. Upon graduation, Michelle worked at Deloitte & Touche, LLP in the firm’s Los Angeles audit department.

At Deloitte, Michelle specialized in real estate clients, primarily working with the firm’s largest private equity real estate client, with over $14 billion in assets under management. Within Deloitte’s real estate division, Michelle excelled at performing audits for clients’ distribution waterfall calculations. Thus, she had the opportunity to make internal presentations to Deloitte partners, managers, seniors, and staff to teach how to audit such calculations. During her time at Deloitte, Michelle also obtained her California Certified Public Accountant’s License.

Michelle is an active member of the Santa Monica Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
